In February 2024, we traveled to Big Indian, New York for a special retreat in partnership with Ally Bogard.

Each year, we plan our Upstate Retreat in the winter, as it’s the perfect time to rest and turn inward. The season lends itself to restoration and quiet contemplation.

There was no better place to do this than in the stillness and beauty of the Catskills’ vast forests and deep valleys. Retreat guests enjoyed indoor and outdoor soaking tubs, steam in the Estonian sauna, and relaxing by the roaring fire.

The third-annual Upstate Retreat was a special culmination of a deep friendship and heart alignment between Ally Bogard and Vanessa Cornell. It was a week for women seeking greater freedom, ease, and purpose by deepening into a practice of self-contemplation.

Meditation, movement, treatments, journaling, and self-inquiry were tools used in our time together. Ally and Vanessa demonstrated that laughter and fun are as powerful a medicine as unearthing emotions and tears. Together we learned deep lessons, fostered friendships, and had a blast!
